This year’s beautiful “Spring is in the air” inspired Queen size Bed Quilt is made from new and donated 100% cotton fabrics. 

Talented Dream Stitches quilt makers Janelle Bowerman and Bev Trease expertly crafted the quilt before it was professionally quilted by Merri from ‘Q is for Quilting’ Boronia. The quilt represents 70 hours of work.

Dream Stitches stablished in 2004 by the Anglican church, the program began in response to the needs of recently arrived refugees. Initially the program welcomed refugee women from South Sudan, teaching them to sew so that they could make clothes for themselves and their families. We are a multicultural program and presently include migrant and refugee women from Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, China and Iran.
